Here is an exercise by Gay Hendricks called Five Wishes for Life. Every time I’ve done this, my life transforms. Years ago, my number one wish was to take my magic all the way, and now, I am the Emissary for the Gold Santa Muerte.

In Five Wishes: The Conversation on YouTube, Gay Hendricks stated, “If you were on your deathbed, and I came to visit you, and I asked you, “Was your life a complete success,” and if your life had not been a success, what’s the thing that would have been missing that would have made it a success?
Jay Paul Getty was the richest man at one point, up until Bill Gates. He was on his deathbed, according to the story I heard, when he was 83, I think, and, you know, he’d had, I believe at one time he owned fourteen homes, and billions. They asked him if he’d had a good life, and he said that he would gladly give up all of his millions for one experience of being happily married. That’s what he would have wished for on his deathbed.
So, if I came to visit you, and I asked you if your life had been a success, and you said, “No, it wasn’t a success,” what would you be referring to that made it not a success?
Why is that important to you?
So, that’s what you would be wishing for.
If you were putting that in the past tense, it would be something like, “My life was a failure because ________.”
Out of curiosity, why do you think that’s never happened for you?
What are you really afraid of?”
